1. DJ를 시작하게 된 계기는?

일본 유학시절 클럽에서 바텐더를 하다 손님들과 소통하는 디제이의 모습을 보고 DJ의 매력에 빠져 시작하게 되었습니다.

2. 플레이 도중 에피소드가 있다면?

예전에 모니터가 아예 안되는 곳에서 플레이 한적이 있었는데 헤드폰으로 양쪽 다 들으면서 믹싱을 했는데 믹싱을 다 하고 헤드폰을 벗었는데 노래가 안 나오고 있었어요. 헤드폰에선 신나게 나오고ㅋㅋㅋ나만 몰랐죠 ㅋㅋ그때 무서웠습니다.

3. 한국의 DJ씬에서 가장 눈 여겨 보고 있는 게 있다면? (특정 DJ나 클럽, 무브먼트 등) (좋아하는 아티스트, 곡, 장르 불문)

이태원에 있는 Faust라는 클럽을 한번 쯤 와보시라고 추천해 드리고 싶네요. 아주 어둡고 음악소리밖에 안들려요 (물론 보이긴 보여요 ㅋㅋ).
남 신경 안쓰고 음악들으면서 즐길 수 있는 곳이죠 사운드도 딱 좋아요.

1. How did you start Djing?

I was doing part time job as bartender at the club in Japan. It was really attractive to watch the DJs communicate with floor and
that’s the beginning.

2. Do you have any interesting episode while gig?

I can’t remember exact name of the place but there was no monitor system. Was trying to mix both decks through the headphone and
though “Yeah, it’s alright”. Then I took off the headphone, realized there was no sounds to outside.. haha. Only I didn’t know
about it. Was really awkward moment.

3. Do you have any party, DJ, or place that catching your interest?

I would recommend Faust, Itaewon to visit. It’s very dark and only the music fill the venue. At the same time, you don’t have to
care what others think, just enjoy the music. It also has decent sound system.
