1. 디제이와 프로듀서는 비슷한 듯 아주 다른 분야 같아요. 디제잉만 하고 자신의 비트는 만들지 않는 사람들도 많고, 그 반대의 경우도 많아요. 두 가지 일을 다 하는 것이 어떤 장점이 있나요?
여러가지 장점이 있지만 단적으로 얘기하자면 요즘은 디제이가 프로듀싱을 같이 하지 않으면 살아남기 힘든 시대인 것 같습니다.
2. 어떤 기회, 계기로 DJ가 되었나요?
공익근무를 시작하면서 예전부터 꼭 한번 해보고 싶었던 일에 도전해 보기로 결심하고 무작정 클럽을 찾아가서 가르쳐 달라고 했었습니다.
3. 부산 출신으로 알고 있는데 서울로 올라온 이유는 무엇인가요?
제 고향이 부산인데 서울에서 다니던 학교를 휴학하고 공익근무를 하러 부모님이 계신 부산으로 내려갔었던 건데, 공익근무가 끝나고 학교에 복학을 해야해서 올라왔습니다.그때는 서울로 가서 내 디제이의 꿈을 펼쳐야겠다 이런 생각은 사실 없었어요^^;;
1. It seems that DJ and Producer are similar in some parts and very different. Some DJ’s are not There are many advantages, but I would say DJ should produce their own tracks to survive these days.
2. What opportunity did you get to be a DJ?
While I was in a public service, DJing was the one thing I really wanted to challenge for a long time. So I just visit the local club to find someone to teach me.
3. As we know, you are from Busan. Is there any reason to come Seoul?
My hometown is Busan, and I attend to University in Seoul. The reason I back to Busan was to do the public service also my parents still live there. And after finishing my duty, it’s kind of natural to back to Seoul for University. Actually, there was no plan to become a Dj at that time.
