1. 어떤 음악들을 좋아하며 성장했나요? (좋아하는 아티스트, 곡, 장르 등)

Nirvana, Metalica, Gunsn’roses, Smashing Pumpkins, Radiohead, Limp Bizkit, Rage against the machine, Korn, Slipknot, Mr. BIG, Extreme 등등 오버드라이브된 기타소리가 매력적으로 느껴지던 어릴때는 rock이 아닌 음악은 거의 듣지 않았을 정도로 음악편식이 아주 심했어요. 그러던중 Infected Mushroom을 접하고 굉장한 충격을 받은후로 일렉트로닉만 줄곧 듣고 있네요.

2. JYP에서 엔지니어로 활동했어요. 어떤 경험이었나요? (배운 점, 지금의 활동에 영향을 미친 점?)

처음 사운드엔지니어로 일하게된 곳이어서 실무경험을 통해 많은걸 느끼고 배울수 있었던 소중한 시간이었습니다. 많은 좋은 프로듀서들과의 작업을 통해 얻은 지식과 기술들은 현재 프로듀싱 활동에도 아주 좋은 밑거름이 되었죠.

3. 2015년은 어떤 해였나요? 더불어 2016년의 계획도 알려주세요.

2015년은 저로선 오래도록 기억에남을 역사적인 해였습니다. 기왕 놀거 우리식대로 한번 재미지게 놀아보자. 로 시작된 FunkMe Crew들과의 만남. 함께 동고동락하면서 겪어낸 소중한 시간들. 문래동 5423을 시작으로 압구정 미용실, 제주도 ARARIO Museum , Club Base, 부산 IWP, 그리고 MIXMIX TV까지.. 아마 평생 기억날거 같습니다. 2016년도 2015만 같으면 더이상 바랄게 없을듯 합니다. Let’s Funk!

1. What kind of music have you listened to? In terms of Favorite artist, tracks or genre.

Nirvana, Metalica, Guns n’ Roses, Smashing pumpkins, Radiohead, Limp Bizkit, Rage against the machine, Korn, Slipknot, Mr. BIG, Extreme and else. It was most of the rock music which has overdriven guitars in it. One day, I got shocked to listened Infected Mushroom and then Electronic became my favorite genre so far.

2. What have you achieved or experienced while as an engineer at JYP?

It’s the first time to work as sound engineer and it really helps me a lot through actual work in the fields. Especially for producing, knowledges and techniques through collaboration with many good artists became the firm base of my work.

3. What year 2015 means to you and also tell us the plan for next year.

2015 gonna be long lasting memories, and historic year for me. The first met with FundMe Crew that “Let’s have fun with our style.”, we actually spent lot of times together, Start from Munlaedong 5423, hairshop in Apgujeong, ARARIO Museum in Jeju island, Club Base, IWP Busan and MixMixTV. I won’t forget all these things till I die and hope the next year can be same as this year. Let’s Funk!
