1. What’s your favorite genre of music, and please introduce your style of play.
I loved to listened and play disco. Leftfield disco which has the common field with Punk and Garage that at the border of house are the one I tried to play. There are the genre that has amusing part in it. I also like to playing brand new re-edit records.
2. Please introduce your party, Playlists Seoul. Do you have special plan for 1st anniversary in coming November?
This one start from last Nov. at Cakeshop then moved to Pistil from 3rd party. It aim for ‘Cover all kinds of dance music on earth’. Disco, Funk, Electro, New Jackswing, Soulful house and Synth pop are the normally played and especially focused on the music itself to make people dance. Not the serious music. We invite guest DJ’s sometime but basically the crews are Jinwook, Stuf, Plastick Kid and me. We’ve done for the 5th party last week (5th of Sep), so I haven’t plan for the next one yet. However, I’ll definitely try to do something different.
3. The hottest summer ever has almost passed, what’s the most impressive memory for last summer?
Well it’s hard to call it summer since it’s May, I’ve been New York for holidays. Went out the party hosted by Nicki Siano and luckily had some time to talking with him. Also had his signature on my DVD took from Seoul. He’s actually famous in 70-60’s, quite old and doesn’t play that much these days. It felt really awesome that I never expected.
