1. DJ를 시작하게 된 계기는 무엇인가요?
21살 때 뭔가 재미있는 게 없을까 찾던 중 연세대학교에 DJ 동아리가 생긴다는 이야기를 듣고 가입했어요. 거기서 디제잉을 하던 좋은 친구들을 만나 처음 CDJ 다루는 법을 배우게 되었어요. 그 친구들과 함께 이태원에 Cakeshop이나 Venue 같은 곳들을 놀러 가기 시작하면서 언더그라운드 음악에 점점 더 많은 관심을 갖게 되었어요.
2. 국내외 좋아하는 아티스트(장르불문)를 꼽는다면?
너무 많고 항상 바뀌는데요. 이번 여름 동안에는 DJ Wow랑 Akimbo씨 플레이를 듣고 있으면 기분이 좋아져서 자주 갔던 것 같아요. 요즈음 출퇴근 하면 서는 Arcade Fighters의 새 앨범이랑 Harvey Sutherland 트랙들을 많이 들었어요.
3. DJ로서의 목표, 꿈은 무엇인가요?
목표는 저만의 아이덴티티나 이미지를 잘 찾아가는 것이고 꿈은 나이가 들어도 디제잉을 할 기회들이 있었으면 좋겠어요.
1. How did you start Djing?
When I was 21, I’m looking for something interesting then I heard there will be DJ Club will be organized in Yonsei University. I met good DJ friends and learned how to use CDJ’s from them. We used to hang out in Cakeshop or Venue in Itaewon and my interest on underground music is getting stronger.
2. Who’s your favorite artists?
It’s a lot and keep changing. During this summer, I love to listen the set of DJ Wow and Akimbo which makes me feel really good. New album of Arcade fighters and some tracks of Harvey Surtherland are the one I listened the most while commuting.
3. What’s your goal or dream as DJ?
My goal is to find my identity or build my own image and my dream is to have the opportunity to DJ even when I gets older.
